Kennel
Lyngtunet consists of 8 tibbies, 1 Shiba, Vibeke Aase Jensen and Helena
Hopland. We live at Risnes, 30 minutes outside Bergen.
Here we share a big house. After living in Bergen for so many
years it feels great to live at the countryside and have lots of space
for all the dogs. All our dogs live together with us as familymembers.
Vibeke work as a librarian at The
Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), and has
always had a great interest in dogs. The breed Tibetan spaniel she first
got to know when her sister had a tibbie called Ruffus in 1990.

| Helena also work at NHH
as a sectretary. She had always been very fond of cats, and didn't think
a dog would be right for her. But that was before she fell for the Shiba
Kiri (see her page) and
Vibeke's two tibbie boys Rasmus and Solan.
The prefix Lyngtunet we got in 2000,
and in 2001 we had our first litter. The prefix was chosen because
Vibeke's family cottage was named Lyngtun. The cottage was built by
Vibeke's grandparents and she has many good memories from this place. |
Our dogs come from
well-known kennels as Sagaland and Bergrabben. Their dogs again have bloods
from the most known kennels in Sweden and Finland. Our goal as breeders is
to breed healthy dogs with a good temperament, and of the correct breed
type. We will breed 1-2 litters a year.
The kennel has achieved several Prize
of Honours in breeding.
